Kriger Campus

Every student faces a dilemma of what to do after graduating high school. What college they should attend and what career they should pursue are just a couple of the common questions students want answered. Despite a lot of information being available online, it isn’t easily discoverable.

It was to address this challenge that Suraj Satyarthi, Chandan Satyarthi, and Neeraj Kumar Verma started Kriger Campus.

Kriger Campus connects students with educators to learn from them and get coached, and with colleges and alumni for information. It enables tutors, professors, and experts to leverage their knowledge and expertise to teach and help students. In just a year since its launch, Kriger Campus has grown to a community of 30,000+ people.

Managing a community and engaging with it is no easy feat. The startup leverages the WhatsApp Business app extensively, replacing the need for official emails for internal communication. WhatsApp is also the key channel for communication with its growing user base of interns.

WhatsApp as an engagement channel for its user base has helped to increase conversion by 25 percent

“WhatsApp, with its user friendly features, helps us have a meaningful and immersive dialogue with all stakeholders in our business. In fact, an entire batch of campus ambassador internships was conducted on WhatsApp. We had 600 interns working with us for 30 days. During this period, all the tasks and reports were shared on the group,” says Suraj.

The co-founders say that using WhatsApp as an engagement channel for its user base has helped to increase conversion by 25 percent.

The startup is now gearing up to launch a corporate account and onboard 2,000+ institutes. In the next five years, Kriger Campus aims to become the one-stop virtual campus for every Indian, as well as making it much easier to find answers to questions of what to do after high school.
