Information Processed by WhatsApp on Novi's Behalf for the Use of the Novi Service in WhatsApp

This section provides further detail on the information that WhatsApp collects as a service provider to Novi in order for Novi to provide the Novi Service to you. For more information about what WhatsApp collects on its own behalf to offer the Novi Service in WhatsApp, and to find definitions of any terms not defined herein, refer to the WhatsApp Data Notice for the Use of the Novi Service in WhatsApp.
Novi will collect the following information from your WhatsApp account or device, depending on your use of the Novi Service, e.g., whether you are a recipient or a sender, or whether you are using certain features such as cash withdrawal. This information is passed through our server on behalf of Novi, once you create a Novi account and log into the Novi Service in WhatsApp.
Category of Information
Authentication codes, passwords, security tokens and unique identifiers to verify and grant appropriate authorizations as you use the Novi service to ensure only you are accessing your account.
Address, date of birth, government issued identity documents, photo images of identity documents or videos (including audio) uploaded by you in order to confirm your identity, as required by law and to fight financial crime.
Financial and Transaction Information
Credit or debit card details and bank account details; certain types of transaction data, e.g., amount, time of transaction, currency sender/receiver and information about payments and transfers between you and your contacts (including exchange rates used in the Novi transaction).
Data from Device Settings and Signals
Information you enable Novi to receive through your device settings, such as access to your GPS location or camera.
Log and Usage Data
Information about your activity on the Novi Service, like service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity (including how you use the Novi Service, your Novi Service settings, how you interact with others using the Novi Service, and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities and interactions), log files, and diagnostic, crash, website, and performance logs and reports.
The following types of information may be collected on your WhatsApp account or device by Novi and passed through our WhatsApp server. This information is accessible to and can be seen by WhatsApp so that WhatsApp can use it to facilitate access to the Novi Service:
Category of Information
Device and Account Identifiers
Client generated unique identifiers (such as client/user request IDs, which are specific identifying reference numbers given to any requests you make and that are sent to the Novi server), locale/language preferences, one-time signed tokens for fetching certain information (such as status, balance and transaction history).
Limited types of transaction data, such as, sender/receiver, the type of transaction (e.g., deposit or withdrawal), and transaction status (i.e., whether the payment was successful or declined)
Performance and Log Data
Limited performance and log data (such as the time and frequency of your activities and interactions and crash reports).
