This Channel from the Civil Engineering Department of of BIS aims to provide authentic information about the National Building Code of India (NBC). NBC is a comprehensive building Code and is a national instrument providing guidelines for regulating building construction activities across the country. It serves as a Model Code for adoption by all agencies involved in building construction works. The current version of the Code is the *National Building Code of India 2016*.
