LFG Cares

When Bhushan Bawiskar and Rohit Nandre noticed an increased demand for good hospital management services, they came together to start LFG Cares, a management consulting firm for small and medium scale organizations in the mechanical, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and healthcare industries. Launched in 2017, their objective was to solve problems that doctors and hospital management face in areas such as HR, skill development for staff, administration, and quality services.

After the idea received a positive response from hospitals, they set out to sell their idea with a Rs 180 (approximately USD 3) pamphlet and a black and white brochure.

LFG Cares uses the WhatsApp Business app for their clients (hospitals). They’ve created different groups for each hospital which includes doctors, staff, and nurses from that hospital. Details about meetings and training sessions are shared with the right hospital on the go.

WhatsApp has enabled their business to grow by 60-70 percent

“We love the labels feature in the app, which we use to categorize meetings,” says Bhushan, adding that WhatsApp has enabled their business to grow by 60-70 percent, reduce operation costs, and connect seamlessly with hospitals across the country. “The WhatsApp Business app acts as a help desk for customers so that their queries can be solved in real-time.”
