Facebook is looking for an analytical thinker with experience in policy, law, consultancy, or government to join our Product Policy team. The team’s mission is to empower expression and foster a safe environment for people across the Facebook Family of Apps and Services.
As a Product Policy Manager with a focus on WhatsApp, you will work closely with a number of other teams, including our Product, Legal, Communications, Public Policy, and Trust and Safety teams. You will play a key role in developing, applying, and communicating our policies both internally and externally. You will also manage high-profile issues related to use of the platform.
Successful candidates will have experience in policy and/or legal issues and will be able to provide insights that contribute to the shaping of WhatsApp’s product integrity policies in international markets. Further, successful candidates should be able to critically analyze and communicate the costs and benefits of refinements to policies and their implementation. You should be passionate about the services we provide and the people that we serve.
This is a full-time position located at our Menlo Park, California office.
