The WhatsApp Integrated Business Marketing team empowers our users to connect with a growing network of businesses for customer support and relevant notifications. In 2021, we expect to rapidly scale availability of the business API through a series of key feature launches, and are seeking a passionate, thoughtful Marketing Communications Manager to lead the go-to-market implementation and narrative development. You will be responsible for partnering cross-functionally to translate the core messaging strategy across channels and audiences, defining and implementing GTM plans for initiative launches, and helping all customers understand the value of the WhatsApp business API. The ideal candidate will have a strong business marketing background and is a savvy storyteller, able to develop simple, compelling messaging that scales for multiple audiences. This role requires strong collaboration skills as projects will require regular cross-team and cross-functional work. You will be expected to define strategies based on business goals and customer insights, and apply a deep understanding of channel and country-level market dynamics, and the right mix of brand and product knowledge to deliver effective marketing plans that truly move the needle. A results-oriented mindset with a track record of focusing on high impact activities & driving initiatives through to execution is key to success. This role will report to the Integrated Business Marketing Lead.
