We are looking for an experienced product marketer to play a critical role in shaping WhatsApp’s core consumer experience. This person plays a significant role in leading in envisioning the future of the WhatsApp product experience and developing breakthrough marketing initiatives that drive consumer awareness, engagement, and retention aligned to the product. The ideal candidate is someone who can drive both strategy and execution and cares deeply about WhatsApp’s mission to connect the world privately. They are analytical and creative, highly collaborative, and will have a successful track record of launching & scaling mass-market consumer products or services that people cannot live without for a range of well-known consumer brands. They will have a track record for influencing the product roadmap, successfully representing the consumer across the product lifecycle, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.

Work with Marketing Insights & Data Science to generate break-through quantitative, qualitative, and competitive insights.
Build strong product positioning, clear narratives, and drive influence across the WhatsApp core consumer product to ensure we’re delivering consumer value and driving understanding.
Drive go-to-market plans working closely with cross-functional teams to determine effective launch strategy and communications sequencing.
Partner with brand and integrated marketing on outbound marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive consumer awareness, adoption and long term engagement.
Understand the WhatsApp Consumer and their connection with the product to drive meaningful new product/feature adoption + greater engagement.
5+ years of experience launching & scaling consumer apps, products or services for global consumer brands.
Experience working closely with product and design teams in the product development process.
Experience developing and driving analytically rigorous consumer marketing campaigns.
Experience in fast-paced technology, startups, or consumer mobile app space.
International experience and knowledge of diverse cultural, social and business landscapes.
Experience developing strategy, content and launch plan for highly visible digital surfaces such as websites.
Understanding of digital and mobile video and the entertainment and technology landscape both in the U.S. and internationally.
