Content Strategy Manager, Integrated Business Marketing

The WhatsApp Integrated Business Marketing team develops marketing programs across WhatsApp Partner ecosystems. We are responsible for working with an ecosystem of companies that provide data, tools and services that maximize the performance of WhatsApp solutions for their clients. Our WhatsApp Integrated Business Marketing team is seeking a full-time role as a content strategist to own strategic planning and execution of marketing content for our partners. This role is responsible for defining audiences, messaging, mediums and processes to scale creation of content for our key audiences across their lifecycle.

This role will require both high-level strategy and process design and hands-on operational content creation work to execute against business objectives. You're perfect for this role if you are versatile, you’re able to plan and draft content for sophisticated business audiences, including product tours, how-to guides, white papers, transactional emails and launch education materials, as well as apply consistent standards and elevate the overall quality of our work; understand content planning and user experience and thrive in a flat, fast-moving organization.

This role will work in close partnership with important cross functional teams such as business marketing, product marketing, partnerships, content and design. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking and strong communication skills with creativity to execute on high-impact, high-leverage content, processes and programs that will scale globally. The candidate must have driven content strategy or digital marketing programs in partnership with sales or account management teams at a fast-paced Internet company.

This role will report to the Integrated Business Marketing Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multi-year content strategies at the portfolio level and shepherd content creation across regions, verticals and use cases through both direct content creation and cross-functional collaboration with partners and regional experts
  • Develop content strategy for Business Messaging, including audience development and lifecycle approach, with alignment from cross-functional partners and leadership
  • Create marketing collateral, including PowerPoint decks, fact sheets, playbooks, customer stories, newsletters, how-to content and videos
  • Develop process and infrastructure for scaling content creation and dissemination across multiple regions, verticals, and use cases. Project Manage a cross-organization, cross-functional group of stakeholders and ensure the content we ship is cohesive and thoughtfully crafted and executed
  • Partner with other marketing managers to inform the long-term API partner marketing strategy
  • Willing to travel/work with international teams, approximately 10% of the time

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelors degree
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing at a digital advertiser, agency, tech and/or product and services company
  • Experience in working in B2B or with third party ecosystem partners
  • Experience in content strategy or content marketing
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in developing content in B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience working with partners or developers, particularly in a partner enablement function
  • Experience scaling content creation through systems, processes, or tools
