We are looking for an independent, self-starting Survey Program Manager that can effectively leverage their experience, communication skills, and product knowledge to help expand our internal survey capabilities to the WhatsApp audience.
The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and able to identify gaps and build solutions. We are looking for someone who can facilitate our team’s best work by managing short- and long-term projects and initiatives. Communication skills, stakeholder management, the ability to manage complex logistics and organizational dynamics are mandatory.
Partner with the central survey platform team to develop and execute plans to build and launch in-app survey capability for WhatsApp
Facilitate cross-company communications on in-app survey efforts
Build impactful relationships with cross-functional partners from central data and engineering, research, design, and various product teams
Partner with legal, privacy, and survey platform operations teams to develop guidelines for survey deployment
Develop best practices and build training frameworks to ensure individuals and teams use in-app survey tooling independently and effectively
Work across the organization with research leadership, product management, engineering and additional teams as needed to drive continuous improvements to our survey ecosystem
Proactively identify opportunities for survey tool enhancements and prioritize key issues and opportunities
Serve as an advocate for Research in the survey development process
B.S. or B.A.
8+ years of product/program management experience
2+ years of technical product/program management experience
Experience working with large organizations and across multiple cross-functional teams to discover gaps, creatively scope solutions, and launch products
Experience building effective communication frameworks and relationships between users, technical and multi-disciplinary teams, partners, and leadership to drive program alignment and garner buy-in with experience adapting communication style to suit different audiences
Track record of operating independently on multiple workstreams, embracing ambiguity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
Experience working with multiple partners in different time zones, including international products and localization teams
Experience working closely with Design, Engineering, Data, Policy, and Legal Teams
Experience communicating with data to drive change
Experience delivering solutions for in a remote environment
B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Analytical and problem-solving experience with tooling systems
Experience working with other survey platforms (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc.)
Program Management experience in research related fields
