The Business Messaging Group’s mission is to become the primary way that people and businesses communicate. Meta’s messaging products - WhatsApp, Instagram Direct, and Facebook Messenger - reach more than 2 billion people and are used by more than 100 million businesses. The Scaled Growth leader is responsible for leading the team that manages a portfolio of outsourced sales and demand gen programs to acquire, qualify, and grow thousands of SMBs and developers. This includes owning the sales strategy, customer experience, and insights for an important cohort of our customer base. This role will report into the VP of Marketing & Growth for Meta’s Messaging businesses. This role requires a combination of business strategy, scaled growth mindset, operational acumen, data analytics and deep understanding of the business funnel in a B2B SaaS environment. Ideal candidates will have experience building and managing scaled growth teams at fast-growing companies, overseeing complex outsourced operations, recognizing patterns of success (and failure) quickly, and working cross-functionally. Specific experience in operationalizing outsourced and/or inside sales functions is a plus.
Build global outsourced sales, lead qualification, and growth capabilities from the ground up and scale it to be able to serve thousands of Meta’s unmanaged customers and developers.
Develop programs that drive the customer funnel and key operating metrics (product adoption, revenue), in partnership with key cross-function teams (including Marketing, Partnerships, Direct Sales). Continuously optimize program strategy, operations and effectiveness in order to hit aggressive regional adoption and revenue targets.
Drive the budgeting, planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of complex outsourcing programs in partnerships with cross-function teams (including Business Planning & Operations, Finance, Analytics, etc.).
Bring customer insights at scale into the broader marketing and product development process.
Build and lead a world-class team, including developing people, building organizational structures, recruiting, training, and development.
10+ years of experience in the B2B space
10+ years experience in business and marketing leadership roles, including experience in scaling operating roles that directly drive business growth
5+ years experience building and leading teams of managers and experienced individual contributors
Analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve issues strategically
Experience working with and building successful relationships with business stakeholders, cross-functional groups and third parties
Experience driving success in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
5+ years of vendor operations and outsourced programs experience
Experience in SaaS strongly preferred
Experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management
Avid user of messaging, including with businesses
