Meta is seeking an experienced Product Partnerships professional who is passionate about the way Meta can work with businesses, startups, and developers to build a variety of valuable product experiences for businesses on WhatsApp. WhatsApp provides businesses with an effective channel to communicate with their customers. The Business Messaging Group (BMG) at Meta is responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with our key WhatsApp partners and the developer ecosystem. The Product Partnerships Team within the BMG organization is in charge of identifying new opportunities, co-creating solutions with partners, and testing innovative ways of bringing those solutions to market. You will work with some of the world’s most exciting companies and startups as well as with our world-class WhatsApp product and engineering teams. In addition to those teams, you will work cross-functionally with the Policy, Legal, Marketing, PR and the Operations teams to optimize new capabilities, improve user experience, and make our partners successful.
Responsibilities
Help drive product strategy through strategic partnerships with businesses, developers, and leading consumer product organizations
Work with cross functional teams to design the partnership strategy for specific products and/segments and identify new business opportunities
Produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of third-party product performance, aggregate feedback, and inform the product roadmap
Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
Design creative commercial constructs, lead complex negotiation, and identify win-win scenarios/solutions
Represent Meta in external meetings with executives from other companies
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, partnerships, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch products and partnerships
Displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics
Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time
Minimum Qualification
Fluency in English
8+ years of work experience, in strategic partnerships or business development in technology or telecommunication companies
Experience negotiating complex agreements and finding win-win solutions
Bachelors degree
Experience working with product to define product strategy and product requirements
Collaboration and relationship-building experience — with the experience developing working relationships at all levels of management
Experience defining, developing and leading cross functional initiatives
Preferred Qualification
MBA or other master’s degree
Knowledge of WhatsApp Platform and their strategic and competitive positions
