As the Global Channel Program Manager, you are responsible for helping drive the strategy and roadmap to empower our global team and drive partners and client enthusiasm for WhatsApp business messaging. This role is a key member of the WhatsApp channel partnerships/sales organization and will work closely with PMM, marketing, and cross functional peers. Key responsibilities of the Global Channel Program Manager include the overall development, launch, execution and maintenance of the critical components that make up the WhatsApp Channel Partner Program. You will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders and owners of associated programs and initiatives that make up the Channel Partner Program: Partner Tiering, Commercial Incentives, Deal Desk, our Pitch & Pass Lead Distribution Program and Partner Operations. You will also coordinate with internal business partners to prioritize business initiatives to empower the partner ecosystem along every step of the partnership and customer lifecycle. You will execute the program strategy and vision across all channel partner program platforms as well as ensure all program KPI’s are measured and reported to both internal stakeholders and external partners participating in the program.
Strategy and execution of programs for the WhatsApp partnerships org to enable regional partnerships teams to accelerate growth
Launch and manage the global channel partner program in coordination with matrixed stakeholders
Develop, execute, and manage program development process designed to scope, prioritize, develop, socialize, refine, launch, and manage new and/or update existing programs in the near future
Collaborate with cross functional resources in developing and updating programs, critical business policies/processes and develop associated documentation for internal selling and external partner use
Conceive new programs ideas or identify program updates utilizing key financial, program and partner metrics and eliciting feedback from internal and partner constituents globally to evolve WhatsApp partner programs
Socialize and execute program updates with appropriate messaging for channel sales and channel marketing to communicate to partners in timely fashion
Conduct ongoing reviews to ensure current & new programs are performing optimally and properly aligned to partner strategy
Track partner progress and results as well as WhatsApp performance against partner expectations across all programs by leveraging multiple platforms (CRM, various internal databases) to create useful reporting and dashboards that quickly analyze and identify partner status, health, and opportunities for growth
Meet with WA Channel Partners for the solicitation of partner feedback and confirmation\validation of proposed program changes
8+ years of proven channel and partner program experience in an B2B enterprise SaaS environment
Proficient in all aspects of managing a global channel partner program including strategy, P&L, partner program automation applications, etc.
Analytical and data-driven, using complex datasets strategically to create improvements, provide practical business insights and persuade others
Experience handling multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Experience addressing cultural and geographic differences in global program implementation
Up-to-date on the trends and market leading companies in business messaging
