Updating WhatsApp can solve problems and sometimes includes new features as well.

For Nokia S60 phones:

1. Download the latest update by going here on your phone's browser.
2. Open the file to install the update.
3. Follow the on screen instructions.

For Nokia S40 phones:

1. Open WhatsApp and go to Options > About

3. Follow the on screen instructions to install the update.
